Study of the historical events around the purchase of the musical archive of ‘La Encarnación’ of Madrid by Montserrat Abbey and the political reasons that created a climate of secrecy in this case; we write down the names of the composers appearing in the archive of those musical chapel and we establish a list of its chapel masters. We registrate as well the other parts (choirbooks of old polyphony by Flemish authors working at the court of Philip II, and others) coming with this archive.
